Canasia Industries Corporation (CAJ - TSX.V)
Canasia Industries Corporation ("Canasia") is a Canadian exploration company dedicated to the aggressive pursuit of world class mineral deposits. Canasia is planning multiple aggressive work programs in 2012 that make this an exciting time period for Canasia's growth.
Canasia's primary prospect is the Clone Prospect in Stewart, BC. To date, Canasia has achieved significant drill results that returned grades of 12.80 m (42ft) of 44.75g/t (1.305oz/t) gold values including 4.87m (16 ft) of 76.80g/t (2.240oz/t) and last year season completed a 102 tonne bulk sample that returned grades 4 oz/t or 139.2 g/t gold over the 102 individually tested tonne samples. Management is planning a larger bulk sample program in 2012.
Canasia has acquired the Murdochville East Aluminous Clay/ Rare Earth Prospect which consists of approximately 5,500 contiguous acres in the Gaspe Bay region of Quebec. This prospect is the property is strategically located near multiple deepwater ports and is in close proximity to the St. Lawrence River across from the province's major aluminum smelters. This prospect is directly bordering Orbite Aluminae Inc.'s (TSX: ORT) Grand Vallée deposit located 32 km northeast of Murdochville.
Canasia's Reed Lake Prospect borders HudBay Minerals' (HBM - TSX) and VMS Ventures' (VMS - TSX.V) significant Copper discovery in Manitoba's Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. HudBay and VMS have signed a Joint Venture Agreement on their neighbouring property and are expected to continue exploration programs.
Canasia also has the Debut Gold Prospect in Nevada and a rare earth in northern Quebec in close proximity to Commerce Resources Eldor Prospect rare earth discovery.
